Sprint is a US-based telecom corporation that acts as an ISP (internet service provider). It provides wireless services to customers, being the 4th largest telecom network in the US. The company serves 54+ million customers, in addition to broadband, wireless voice services, and messaging services.

Previously, Sprint was involved in localized landline phone services. However, it decided to expand in 2006, abandoning landlines, and moving towards new wireless assets – into a new company titled Embarq. This was mainly due to the rise in popularity of social media, and the introduction of smartphones through Apple.

Currently, the company is known as Sprint Nextel Corporation, after its merge with Next Communications in 2005.

After the completion of the Nextel/Sprint merger, the current Sprint HQ totaled 14,000 employees. For a while, this had made it one of the world’s largest HQ centers. However, the company has downsized throughout the next years, where it has opted to sublease some of its space to different corporations, such as CareCentrix and JP Morgan.

  1. why is it that every time I try to call your town center store in Leawood, ks no one answers, it always goes to voice mail. I did talk to your manager once Sierra, I think that was her name about a problem we had when we purchased 2 new phones and was offered what she said was FREE merchandise, great until we got our bill and was charged for equipment use. You raised my bill by 215.00 dollars and when I call,you all tell me the only one that can fix your mistake is this Sierra, I did talk to her once and she said she would call me back and that was almost 2 weeks ago.I tried to call corporate and can’t get a usable number. What do you want me to do, is there anyone that can help?
