It all started in Pike Place Market at Seattle. The year was 1971 and a small corporation called Starbucks opened up its store with a roaster and the desire to sell the best-roasted coffee beans and spices on the market. The tiny corporation spread its influence and products to over 60 countries by starting from humble beginnings and passionate goals. It will be a difficult task to not locate a Starbucks store in a single city or even a large town. The stores are not independent franchises, they are operated and owned by the headquarters of Starbucks.
